With IRESS Web Services you incorporate live market data and trading functionality into your own applications and websites. At a more sophisticated level, you can develop customised trading interfaces.

IRESS Web Services provides connectvity with the IRESS order, portfolio and FIX solutions.

Develop on any platform 

Accessible via the internet using the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), with IRESS Web Services you can develop applications on any platform, using any language as long as the software can produce a valid SOAP request.

Data is retrieved in an XML format for use in HTML and XML output scenarios, and can be live, request-based or 20 minute delayed.

An IRESS Data Services (IDS) server application layer provides a rich suite of functionality including watching for updates, paging and asynchronous executions.

IRESS Market Feed

IRESS Market Feed is a low latency, normalised market data feed that delivers depth, quote and trade information in a consolidated or non-consolidated form. Ideal for feeding trade algorithms, publishing data for public display or use anywhere tha tyou require streaming market-wide data.

Multi-purpose market data

IRESS Market Feed supports multiple variants of the original data feeds and is normalised, so only one set of development is required to read any number of markets.

The following data elements are avaliable for all exchange-listed equity securities traded via the IRESS system:

• Quotes - real-time market information for securities
• Depth - full order depth of a security for different exchanges
• Trades - full trade feeds across all supported trading destinations

The IRESS Market Feed is made up of a series of messages, each of a predetermined packet length. The messages are delivered using IRESS TCP Feed protocol that takes care of packeting.
