115 System Datafeeds now available in XPLAN, and 48 in VisiPlan. We continue to work with Fund Managers to further this offering and enhance existing datafeeds.
With the number of datafeeds increasing, the most common questions we receive are:
- What Insurance / Corporate Super datafeeds are available?
- What information comes through in specific Fund Manager datafeeds?
In response to these questions, we've added a new section to the Datafeeds area of the XPLAN Help file, called Datafeed Summaries.
The new section includes an overview document listing our current datafeed providers, and a specification document showing the detailed summary of each datafeed. datafeed summaries are not yet available for all providers, but more will be added over the coming weeks.
Datafeed overview list
This document lists the datafeeds currently available, and indicates the type of data included in the datafeed, for example, IRESS Order System (IOS), Corporate Super, Investment and/or Insurance data.
Datafeed detailed summaries
These documents detail the key data components available within the datafeed, including:
- Client details (First name, surname, date of birth, contact details, etc)
- Portfolio data (Asset Allocation, full transaction history, interest, dividend and distribution, etc)
- Insurance data (Insurance types, owner, premium, sum insured, etc)

Datafeed training guide and video
The Platform Interfaces team has been working closely with our Training team to bring you a comprehensive training guide and video that will explain the steps required to administer a system datafeed.
The guide and video will also cover how to refresh data and walk through one of the most common issues with datafeeds – how to resolve reconciliation errors.
XPLAN System Datafeed - Troubleshooting guide
Designed to assist you in resolving the issues and errors encountered with datafeeds, this guide will cover what to do when:
- datafeeds won’t ‘activate’
- clients are not visible in the Mapped / Unmapped section of XPLAN
- no data is being received for an adviser
- no data is showing against a client record
- data has stopped importing for a client account
- transactions are missing
- an account is out of balance
- unit pricing / asset allocation data is incorrect
- IOS accounts are out of balance
- IOS accounts are missing transactions
- IOS data is not being imported.
Your Account Executive will let you know when these new documents are available and IRESS will also announce via XPLAN News.
