ActiveClient is not receiving automatic updates

Note: After running the above exe file, check the update was successful by doing the following:

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel, then select Administrative Tools > Services.
  2. In the Services list, locate 'ActiveclientUpdateChecker Starter'.

    If the Update Checker is not in the list, or does not have a Status of Started, the update has not been successful. Please contact the ActiveClient team for assistance.

The error message "Cannot connect to host 127.0.0.1" displays when ActiveClient is not running and/ or when the computer start up.

Error messages occur when attempting to update the ActiveClient Licence. E.g. "Unable to connect to TransActive Servers."

Windows XP SP2 is installed and ActiveClient won't run.
